Why +x.
Because queer life happens everywhere — and nowhere. Drag brunches in capitals, zine open calls, group trips between cities for Pride. All of it exists. The question is — who knows when, where, and with whom.
The problem
Events disappear in Stories after 24 hours. Open calls circulate in private Discord groups. People who could co-create on an art residency never meet. Dating apps solve one thing. But queer life isn't just dating.
The idea
+x is a map. Events, trips, open calls — all in one place, near you. Profiles of people who share as much as they want. Chat that lets you meet up for a drag brunch or co-apply for a zine call. Everything declarative — you decide what you share and with whom.
Who it's for
For queer people and allies. For artists looking for collaborators. For people who moved to a new city and don't know where the queer community is. For anyone tired of searching 7 Facebook groups just to learn about one event.
Safety and inclusivity
This is a project for queer people — so safety isn't an add-on, it's the foundation. Everything is declarative — your location, your profile, what you choose to share. Profiles are hidden by default. Moderation is real, not symbolic. Your data is never sold or shared.
We're polishing +x together with the community — because we know that even queer communities can be closed. That's what we want to avoid. +x is meant to be a place where everyone finds their own. Here, we create beauty together.
Where we are now
Pre-launch. We're building in the open — step by step, close to the community. iOS and Android apps are on the way. In the meantime, we're collecting a waitlist of people who want to be first when beta opens — and get short updates along the way.
